It’s cheaper having winter tires and summer tires in the long run . Two set last twice as long where I live in Northern NB Canada it’s not an option if you want to be safe . If everyone ( in climates where needed ) ran winter and summer tires . It would mean safer roads - less accidents and hospital bills - less insurance claims - lower premiums - and shorter journey times because there are less delays due to bad drivers sliding all over jamming up the roads . Causing gridlock ..
