I developed avoidant attachment in my 30s and I wonder how much of that comes from trying to control the level of attachment that comes from the men in my job. Some creators trade on it but I feel sad when people get too invested in my online persona. Have to keep people at arms length and maybe that comes with me when I try to date offline.
