And I didn’t listen to country back then… That being said they welcomed Darius Rucker with open arms when he went country…. Seriously? There is literally a discussion on the daily on country radio about “is Jelly Roll country? Or is Post Malone country?”…why do we think terms like “Bro Country” and “classic country” exist. They are subtle ways of saying “stay in your lane.” Don’t even get me started on the crap Taylor has taken every time she tries something new. The music is what eventually wins people over, not being told what they have to like or that the only reason they don’t like it because the singer is black.
