“Everyone deserves a living wage” sure but that’s not what most people cry about. They want a living wage that also gives them iPhones, vacations, $500+ car payments. Entitlement is wild. If you’re even using a smartphone you have privilege. When I didn’t make a lot of money, I didn’t spend a lot of money on stupid shit either. You can’t have it all unless you’re willing to work for it.

Why are you victim blaming? Wanting your needs met and being comfortable isn't entitlement, it should be the bare minimum.

Bruh the average car payment for a new car in the states rn is over $700, over $500 if it’s used. 3/4 of Americans rely on cars to live their lives. iPhones are pretty affordable when you package them with your plan, and tbh everyone deserves a little time off once in a while. The only way you could come off as more of a woefully generic ignorant is if you went on to preach about avocado toast and Starbucks.

Isn’t every employee part of the profit making of the company? If the company is profitable shouldn’t they share in the profits. Shareholders are actually creditors- employees contribute to the bottom line.

In today’s world the smart phone that people need to gain employment or the car they need to get to work is not a luxury. It’s the $3000 rent on a one bedroom apartment that is making life unaffordable. It’s not the avocado toast.

Don’t believe in this wokeness. Back 20 years ago. Minimum wage is like 7 dollars and people still able to make ends meet. They just cry because they don’t want to improve on themselves and work jobs that high school kids. I don’t by this at all.

There’s many things I don’t know but one thing I know for sure is that the poorest class is not the one that feels the most entitled to things…. A very small minority of people control the vast majority of the wealth and you guys are mad at people working full time because they want to be able to afford rent and an iPhone. Talk about being mad at the wrong people…

A smart phone is required to participate in society, it’s another tax, this time payable to Apple, Samsung, your service provider etc. try to operate in any urban centre right now without a smartphone. I dare you. It is not a privilege. It is a burden of modern life.

Ad smartphones: why is a smartphone automatically assumed to be an iPhone with Americans? In Europe people around me have various brands of smartphones, you can get a cheap one for €100 that will provide the basic functions you do actually need in today's society. iPhones are luxury items.

This is a dogshit take, almost every job requires a smartphone and internet. There's a reason why many state welfare programs provide phones these days, it's because it's impossible to work without them now. Even the Amish have phones.
