Had my first patient I legit wish I could prescribe opioids to 😮‍💨 kidneys failing because they’re taking so much ibuprofen just to function, have an active labor job, already on every nerve pain medication max doses and has imaging proving nerve impingement, took the pain management classes and the breathing workshops and their gait is hobbling. Maybe I’m naive but I just wish I could give a baby dose of something. I sent in acetaminophen and lidocaine patches which normally I just recommend 😭
