I’ve found this can be a double edged sword. The algorithms can either take this & filter your music to only that person’s general taste profile that may not totally fit and skew analytics. mainly it’s been getting hip to this strategy & not counting them as real streams. I’ve seen this & certain playlisting companies actually ruin your algorithmic growth. One bad campaign I had doing those two things took 2 years to fix & my similar artists were not even close to me so I got no organic growth.
