I'm cool with baristas at Starbucks making over $30 an hour, but remove tips as an option. Same for all businesses that ask for tips "livable wages" don't require it.

I’ve been a barista, a server, and a bartender. Customers do not tip baristas anywhere close to the way they tip other service jobs. I was able to live off my tips in the other jobs only working part time, but as a barista I had to work full time, and I worked hard to get promoted so I could make more money. So yeah, this is why Starbucks baristas are asking for higher pay.

Why is that so triggering for you? You don't have to tip. The machines do this by default

That's the point. Not relying on tips for a living wage
