I want age limits in Congress not because of some ageist bias against older folks but because I believe our elders *deserve* to transition into a new phase of being, leading, and guiding. I hate that capitalism makes folks stay in the hustle phase for so many years and I hate that white supremacy culture has so many older white folks in our government unable to imagine different ways of being in their power. I revere the wisdom of our elders and their role in community.
