Or society’s cold, callous response to active shooter drills and mass shooters has produced a generation where kids feared they could be murdered on any random Tuesday at best or forced to defecate in a litter box in the corner of the room they’re hiding in at worst (high school social logic) has produced a generation that is cold and callous toward the institutions and pillars of society.

And for those children to grow up getting their schools shot up for an amendment.

Gen Z grew up being shot in schools, with politicians and much of the public saying that was a-ok with them. So why would they care if a CEO millionaire was killed? Especially one who would gladly allow them to die for profit? I’m Gen X and have no sympathy left for corporate greed either.

I’m a millennial that began active shooter drills in high school and then worked in university housing for years after and have lost count of how many drills I’ve gone through at this point. The knowledge that your life could end in an instant and the majority of our governing body wouldn’t give a hot damn is exactly why I’m so cold and callous. And I started in high school. Kids today will experience 12+ years of it and we wonder what’s going on with mental health 😑 God save the pew-pews!

Against the backdrop of Covid trauma, school shootings, electing a criminal rapist to be POTUS, and a live-streamed genocide. Gen Z has been through and seen some sh*t at such a seminal stage. I say this as an elder millennial.

I honestly don’t get the “He hAd a faMiLly.” Talk, every one got here because a mommy and a daddy loved each other very much.

My mother passed away after trying to look up treating a heart attack at home and I know with my soul it was to avoid a hospital bill. My friend died from bladder cancer because it was to advanced after fighting referrals … Luigi should walk.

GenX here and I save my sympathies for all those who lost their life, health or money because of greedy sociopaths like him that denied treatments to paying customers. Voting, protesting for years has done nothing and if this act brings about change, I’m not complaining.

How about a society that allows death because you’re poor and have a shtty insurance I think that’s more important than medical bankruptcy. I’d gladly take medical bankruptcy then be dead because my health insurance denied me and I couldn’t afford to do the procedure out of pocket or was forbidden to by the insurance company.
