Mostly all of them have taken care of their kids and family so they get the care returned to them.

Maybe men should stop being so pointlessly fucking competitive with everything that breathes and they might find they have a better support system.

It’s not really new. Statistically when people become widowed or divorced men are way more motivated than women to find a new partner. I don’t know if it’s actually loneliness. Or if they are just not comfortable being alone

Anecdotally this is my observation. My 88 yr old mom has several clubs and groups mostly made up of widows

Men see caring for eachother gay and cant have that in their christian household 🤷‍♂️

Since they actively build their community- many men seem to rely on women for their community.

Baby I live across a 55+ apartment building, 90% is lonely old men just yearning for human contact. All of them are lonely, hell to the naw 😭 Ewwww

Men were raised to work and be the providers so they weren’t raised to build relationships outside of the working environment. Women were raised to be hostesses, make friends with other wives, moms etc, be friendly etc so they know how to have that community and connections. Men say shit like that because they’re projecting their own fears instead of working on getting a community they can be part of

I was about to say the same. Women will just get together and build community. Men don’t really do that. It’s them in the nursing homes dying alone.
