I wonder if masculine women and studs struggle with providing emotional support in relationships because they are often expected to provide financially. When reflecting on my experience with my ex, she expressed that she didn't know how to offer emotional support because everyone knows to only come to her for financial support. Everyone comes to her for money friends and family. As a result, when I needed emotional courage and empathy, I required a depth of support that she couldn't access.
