I cook with the room doors closed and I open my living room windows during or after I cook. Cooked food smells good in the moment but nobody wants to smell fried chicken when it’s time for bed. Ruins the vibe… The people that get it… get it

You can choose how your own home smells but it is not up to you dictate to other people. You aren’t invited to other people’s home, especially when weirdly judgmental. And before you get aggressively rude as do many do here, my house (downstairs at least) currently smells of fresh coffee and warm flapjacks.

I actually cook and bake. My house is gonna smell like food. It tends to do that when you don't only eat frozen meals. Can't stand when a house smells like artificial lab created scents like most candles and air freshener sprays.
