Visited my brother and sis-in-law and there was an elderly lady at the ground floor void deck. She saw my wife and I play with two neighbourhood stray cats and I greeted her with a ‘Hello, Merry Christmas!’ Her response was ‘Are you foreigners?’ me: no we’re locals, well I was born in Malays- her: Filipino? me: no I’m Chinese her (to my wife): Filipina? us: no we’re fully Chinese! her: can’t be. you don’t look Singaporean me: ok bye bye Merry Christmas!
