Why is Haiti a Latin country ?

We are a Latin country but speaking only French makes us unique among all these Spanish speaking countries. And why do you want us to be with them? They always include us in their statistics only when it's something bad or when they'll make sure we are the last in the list. I've seen many of their post only including us when it's about bad habits or bad economy. You know why.

There’s a difference between being Latino and being Hispanic. Haitians have been excluded because they are not Hispanics. Hispanic means being from a Spanish speaking country and that means being influenced by Spanish culture (Spain). Haitians, Jamaicans, Barbados, Trinis etc are not Hispanics, neither were they colonized by Spain. You’re missing the point.
