I just rewatched The Best Man Final Chapters and this scene pissed me off all over again. Normally, Harper was the rightful source of conflict in the group. But this time? He was not wrong for wanting to keep his child IN THE SAME COUNTRY and everyone acted like he was dead wrong. It’s ironic that Robin pegged Harper as selfish but unnecessarily separating a child from an active and involved father is top tier selfish. Also, this ensemble has hella chemistry. They really need to do a season 2.

Everytime he had the opportunity to choose to do the right thing or choose himself, he chose himself, even it was to the detriment of someone else. Robin chose herself (and their daughter) and he didn't like it. For once, had to be the one to accommodate to someone else's situation and life instead of someone being accommodating to him. It was a bold move for Robin, but I applauded her for seeing things for what they really were and finally choosing herself.

The first time I watched it I was team Robin but watching it this time I was like dang, she wanna move the baby to Africa??? At least compromise, harper wasn't a bad father and the daughter is so young!
