My dear dear dear photographer friends 🤍 Help. My trusty Canon (5D Mark IV) wants to retire. Slowly but surely. So 2025 is the year when… I need to get a new one 🥺 But which one?! Honestly, I’d love to stick with Canon BUT… there’s really no choices other than maybe R5. R6 is out of the budget. Should I switch to Sony? Pros and cons? Been eyeing a7CR and few others but… I don’t know. I love Canon, it has been with me almost 20 years. But maybe it’s time to change? photographers of threads

4 小時內	Thomas Lieser lieserthomas	I am a happy R6 user. Remember, you can use your EF lenses with the adapter. And then slowly switch to RF. So, before you switchbto another brand, compare the price of a complete switchbto just a new body with an adapter

11 小時內	Susan Ferency ferencysusan	I was a Canon user for about 20 years. After illness in 2019, I needed a change because my Canon gear was too heavy. I did a lot of research and chose OM Systems. My reasons were light weight, smaller lenses that were the same or longer length than my Canon/Tamron lenses and super sharp glass, pro lenses and bodies are weather proof, image stabilization in body and lens allows handheld photography (I rarely use a tripod) and finally the computational modes of OM cameras are superior. 1/2
