When I share how I feel more loved in Brazil as a Black American, and my fellow U.S. citizens are in the comments proving me right 🤦🏾♀️🤣

I think it's definitely nuanced and Threads is turning into Twitter, so folk seem to just want to argue. I really enjoyed Brasil too...I've been back and forth 7x and I also see the underbelly. If a place feels good to you, enjoy it. Lots of people are unhappy and it shows in what they comment 😆. If you ever want to have a conversation about Brasil, without the snark (well, mostly) there are a few Black expat groups.

Any part in particular? I’d like to go. I keep hearing about São Paulo.

As they should. Y'all say stuff like this meanwhile you wouldn't be able to survive in Brazil without your American passport. Are you going to denounce your passport? I feel like Black Americans who say stuff like this is the reason why they don't feel welcome. You might be the problem...
