New Year’s Eve plans fell through so I decided to grab a flight to Vancouver tomorrow. Going to spend at least one day in Whistler, I think. I’ve never been to the area—if anyone has recommendations for things you can do at the last minute let me know. My plans so far include Stanley Park, Granville Island Market, VanDusen gardens, and Pulp Fiction (bookstore).

Go to Granville Island Market first thing in the morning when it opens as the traffic there is usually mayhem by 11 am. Be sure to visit Oyama sausage company inside and try a few slices of their duck prosciutto - it is to die for!
