Might be that they were conditioned to think that taking a break was being lazy, either by their parents or past partners. I struggle with that, because of a past relationship where my ex would get upset if I was sitting down watching tv or enjoying a hobby while the house wasn’t up to his standards. Didn’t matter if I had been just doing chores for the last two hours and wanted a short break.
