I once belonged to a fancy stuck up gym in NYC. I was using a machine and an employee who was off work but working out put his towel on my machine while I had just started using it and said “you’re done. This is on my rotation and I need it now.” I’m non-confrontational so I picked up my stuff and picked a new machine. I posted about it on instagram and the manager called and said I was making the club look bad, and I had to delete it if I wanted to keep my membership. I quit soon after.

If a paying customer wants to use that machine, there’s no way my boss would be allowing me/ any other coaches doing our own training to hog it. They would be put first. Always. We wouldn’t even need to think about. They’re paying to use it. We aren’t.
