When driving in the Midwest, if I’m stopped and waiting to pull out onto a road, if I see another car coming even 1/4 mile away, we wait before pulling out. It’s just the right thing. Why slow that person down so I can get ahead? Here in Blount County, TN, if a local sees you coming even 500 ft away, they are pulling out. Then they go 10 mph under the speed limit. Then complain about everyone moving here.
