Basic convo: "do you often fly first class?" (Assume the more positive) Or "how often do you often fly first class?" (Assume nothing) Or "I love first class. They hang our coats for us and everything" (own your perspective and let the other person relate without assumptions). It's not that hard. & As a white lady, I'm glad this was pointed out cuz it's a good reminder that assumptions have bigger impacts for some ppl if coming from me.
