I read in chronological order, I used a yearly plan on the Bible app as a guide. It gave me a list of books/chapters to read each day from beginning to end.

I had a miracle encounter with the Lotd in 1983 and had a wonderful mentor who told me to start with the Gospel of John and read through the New Testament. I also found a nondenominational church that helped me a whole lot. I did a lot of referencing back to the Old Testament from the side notes. I did read through the Old Testament too. Pray and ask Holy Spirit ti guide you. He will. Find a good church is my first recommendation. I will be praying for you🙏🏻✝️

Sometimes where you start or stop will not complete the full picture of what's described.. It's safer and better of understanding when -1, going chapter by chapter from beginning of chosen book(not saying whole bible necessarily) and 2 and finding your max capacity of Comprehension And Interest while marinating on what is read for that day... focus on daily devotion, no matter how small-- the more you read the better understanding and more it comes together anyway so long as ya movin forward sis

Old Test: talks of a time without Jesus and prophesies introduced, how things Were done back then etc..New Test: talks about a time With Jesus, prophesies fulfilled, understanding of how things should be, why they may not be, his promises now and what is To Come The relationship between the 2 should definitely be bridged eventually, I started with New Testament, wanting to know what it says Now- what is there, what should I know about salvation, the ending, his followers and how to be Christlike
