I lived and worked in this city for 6 years without a car (in the pre-Uber days, if you can believe it) and it was one of the best things I ever did. I learned about LA from so many different points of view, absolutely top tier, would recommend. Even now, I still drive substantially less than I did when I lived in the Midwest.
