Pride is doing something kind (maybe u feel led to do it) & being offended or embarrassed when the response isn’t what you expected. I believe God is trying to work this out of me. Childhood trauma makes me sensitive to rejection but the will of God requires me to move past trauma and realize that if Jesus was rejected, I will be rejected. This is a part of suffering with him. Humility is hard. Suffering is hard. But I want God to change me, so I must keep going.
