A couple of things… Eberhard and Tarpenning named the company Tesla (motors) in 2013, before Musk joined as major investor. Nikola Tesla was 28 when he emigrated to the US and had been an engineer so ‘penniless’ is a stretch. Plus this👇🏼is Nicholas Hoult, who played Tesla in the excellent ‘The Current War.’
