Just another sweet moment of support for Palestine. I was walking with my Mom in her predominantly white, “middle/upper class” neighbourhood, and was wearing my Keffiyeh (as one does). A young girl of maybe 7 or 8 was walking with her Mom and as we came by, she said excitedly, “Oh, I love your Keffiyeh!” - (yes, she used the proper word!). I smiled and said “Well I love that you know what a Keffiyeh is.” Her Mom chimed in to say (..) 1/2

幾秒內	isabeljanee	that they had a couple of their own at home, and the little girl proudly says “We support Palestine.” We had a little moment talking about the fact that while we can’t always do a whole lot from where we are, we can always make sure we are showing our support. I nearly cried, tbh (blame it on hormones and the time of year). The youth, they give me hope. ♥️🇵🇸 2/2

一小時內	Marilisa Cometti misanderstanding	A student of mine, Syrian origins: “nice scarf you’re wearing”. Me: “thanks, it’s not a scarf,it’s a keffiyeh”. “I know”. “I know that you know”. It was so powerful, she was sooo proud! And my kids, especially the youngest, love to use one of my keffiyehs, she ends up all wrapped, shouting “Palestina libera” (free Palestine in Italian) ❤️💚🤍🖤

I saw out of the corner of my eye a mother and her young daughter walking past the car and as they went by my window, the mother knocked on it, pointed at my keffiyeh, then clenched her fist and patted her heart.
