I literally had a male stranger try to add me on instagram because I wasn’t giving him any interest in person at the gym. I keep to myself unless I intentionally let you into my space for conversation. I went down the rabbit hole of trying to find out how in the heck he found my instagram and apparently insta has a distance algorithm where if you are at the same place regularly with WiFi on, you will pop up on “people you may know” in the app. This seems predatory to me.
