The problem with third-wave Shoegaze is it all sounds like third-wave Shoegaze, without much differentiation from one band to the next. During the first-wave, bands like My Bloody Valentine, Slowdive and Swervedriver all had their unique approach with plenty of space between them. How did this get so distilled over the past 35yrs into what seems like a genre singularity?
