I love Aaron Sorkin’s work. Sports Night, West Wing, Studio 60, American President, Social Network, etc. But The Newsroom was always a miss for me. I either didn’t have HBO at the time, or binged other shows, but it’s always been on my watch list. So I started watching this week. It’s just as depressing as The West Wing. 🥺 I mean, he’s laying it all out for us!!! We knew it was all going wrong, even back then. Edutainment, reality TV, proto-MAGA (the Tea Party). Jesus! We were warned! 😠
