I can’t agree with this more when did 20% become the norm?

Stop normalizing tips as a percentage of the bill. If I go to a restaurant and order a $200 wagyu beef and a $100 wine, it took the same time to serve me a $20 hamburger and a $4 coke. In one case, assuming 15%, I have to tip $45, in the other case $7.20. It's insane to tip based on the bill. It should be based on the time of service.

Why do people get mad at the person who goes there for the food, and why are they not mad at the companies they accept the job from for not paying them adequately?
