That is people can't tell the difference between "it was good" and "I liked it" anymore. You can like something that isn't good, almost everyone has guilty pleasures and we call them that for a reason, the same way you can hate books that are objectively good or even classic (I personally hated To Kill a Mockingbird, because it's just NOT my jam, that doesn't mean it's bad). That is for readers. Us authors on the other hand have to focus on both : Writing good stories that we would enjoy.
