I think it's probably because I'd read a few stories where supposedly dead people had woken up in the middle of their own funerals that my brain came up with that fantastically impossible idea and showed me last night while I slept. Reality is, she was cremated. Her physical body is NEVER coming back! Even if it did, it was so broken that it would just die again straight away.
