62 here and started a new job a little over a year ago that I love. It has given me a new purpose and focus now that my kids are grown and flown. Haven’t really worked full-time since before I had kids so it kind of feels like I am young again. It’s just me and my husband and the pets at home, which is peaceful. I know that had I been working outside of home for the past 40 years, I would be ready to retire, but this new chapter feels good and stops me from worrying too much about my age.
