We had two lovely guests today, giving their parents a much needed day off. A three hour outing to Kew Gardens turned out to be a great success once we’d puzzled out the mysterious workings of the baby seat and buggy. They’ve both behaved really well but 8 hours with a 5 and 2 year old is a tough gig for we oldies and a stiff G&T awaits this evening
