“Gear doesn’t matter”. While I don’t necessarily disagree there’s situations where if I spend thousands of dollars on camera gear, why would I purchase a cheap tripod that can just blow over in the wind and destroy my gear? It doesn’t always equate to a better image but sometimes it’s worth the money to buy the gear needed to protect your investment.
