While it is likely true that he didn't have the highest success rate of stolen bases (I think he got caught stealing 42 times the year he stole 130) he was so prolific and aggressive on the basepaths, he changed the game more than anyone. He would get picked off and STILL steal the base successfully. But this is what I'm used to from the Post - high quality paper training for dogs...
