Oct 6, 24…Greenbrier River Trail Marathon in West Virginia. I felt so good on this day. I felt like I could run forever. I did have an impending sense of doom though. I didn’t know what it was but I felt like this might be my last marathon. Shortly after this, the sh*t really hit the fan. I do know for sure if my lung heals and my cancers are extinguished I will go back and run this race again. I hold on to the thought of this perfect day often.
