I like to cook what my family calls a “schmeg” (honestly, no idea where this word originated). A one pot mess of a ground protein (e.g. beef, turkey, sausage), veg (e.g. tomato, spinach, onion), a broth, gravy or egg, sometimes a grain or a pasta, and a bit of powdery cheese. I can mix up the spices on a whim. What class of jazz cooking is this called?
