There's an analogy of America in Squid Game. We keep competing in the rat race, trying to win it, thinking our only competition is the fellow game players. Meanwhile, there are a few greedy a-holes who are amused by and profit from our playing the game. What happens when we realize who put us in the game, who made the rules, and that we outnumber them?
