Literally NO "left wing economist" is saying that so 1/ stop lying 2/ people expecting something in return for the tax they pay is not (or it isn't to normal humans) bad. When people in developed countries pay tax, we expect that tax to pay for things which help society, like unemployment benefits, health care, good public schooling. When middle class Americans pay tax they expect to expand the military industrial complex, and... then pay again for private companies to provide the rest.

What is it with the right wingers who believe a convicted felon and sex offender shouldn’t be in jail but in the White House! If a member of your family was sexually assaulted by this man would you be whistling the same tune?
