Don’t you feel that these devices do push you to do more loop-based music, compared to when you create in DAW or just compose with your instrument? All hardware sequencers i ever saw are made with dance music in mind, and it’s hard to imagine that someone would compose or “jam” into something with variable tempo or signature with one of these.
