I mean, how would that be different from what it's like for anyone else, at any time? There's no recourse for the victims of the insurance industry, the carceral state, police brutality, corporate malfeasance, or marginalized people targeted for political gain. Why should we care about the safety of people who are killing us, especially when it's become so abundantly clear that the system is not only incapable of preventing it, but actively designed to facilitate it?
