That’s a different struggle to which I am highly sympathetic. My education was a gift of an advanced democracy with a high-functioning social safety net funded by fair tax policies (Australia). So many people, citizens and immigrants, here in the US🇺🇸 seeking the opportunity to earn some measure of success in a law-abiding, fair meritocracy, and trusting that their work won’t be exploited by a few greedy oligarchs and corrupt politicians.
