Why does it feel wrong? Near 50 means Gen X. Gen X guys were the first as a modern generation to wear nail polish as cis high schoolers. Go for it!

It feels wrong because I don’t want to be perceived as the “creepy old guy” trying to recapture some element of youth. I am fully Gen X and was raised with shame of trying to be old and hip. It sounds trite now, but those were less accepting times. 🤷🏻‍♂️
