No bank is accepting 5% down on a $1.2M house. If you can’t afford $1000/mo on a car, no way you can afford $5000+/mo on a house…..

I’m never in my life buying a house for 1.2 I don’t care how good I’m doing . I’ll happily stay on my own piece of land in my small 1600sq/ft house .

It's unpopular because it's incorrect on so many levels that only an idiot would think it aloud,.let alone post it. Who has $1000 car payment and rents? Who can buy a 1.2m home with 5% down? Why is a $400k home $1.2m now? That's why people can't afford a home.

It won’t be enough for a down payment in five years though if prices keep climbing. Plus I need a car to get to work. Also 1000 a month is an expensive car I can get one for about 500 a month that’s good.
