Mochitsuki is a Japanese tradition of pounding rice into mochi to celebrate the New Year. Today we welcomed the incoming year at a parking lot in Gardena and then went further mochi-hopping. Also I LOVED this guy running around capturing the day with his Canon camera and a monitor. Had I not been there with my kids, I’d likely have cornered him for a chat. 𝘚𝘰𝘯𝘺 𝘈𝟾𝟻𝟶.⁣
