Finished S2 of ShrinkingAppleTV and the way that last episode almost gave me a heart attack... Ted Lasso gave me hope that there could be deeply profound shows that don't rely on emotional manipulation and stupid tropes. And consistently leave you feeling nurtured and joyful. Shrinking has fallen into that category as well. It is so fitting that the season finale was a Thanksgiving episode because the level of gratitude I have for it not to have ended darkly is huge. But it was way too close.
