At minimum everyone who runs for office should have passed a mandatory civics course. Plus criminal and drug test which is standard for many jobs.

I’m a VA employee and we can be subject to random drug testing.. not sure if it’s the same for all federal employees

Not only that. Background checks are a must. To much foreign wheeling and dealing, sexual misconduct, tax cheats and bribes.

How about we stop requiring drug tests for anything that doesn’t explicitly require maximum focus on the job (eg. airline pilot?) most jobs that drug test are doing so for racial discrimination reasons, not because being under the influence would affect safety

Make public what medications they are on too and how much alcohol they consume
