Kendrick dropped Mr Morale in 2022 went on a world tour for 2 years then came back with everything he did this year. Before that the 5 years he took from Damn to Morale was his longest hiatus between albums but prior to that everything was on average 2 years apart yet people love to say “he disappears for 5 years” so did MJ so did Kanye so did Jay Z who cares if the music is classic every time

Especially the ones who actually care about their craft and the quality of work they actually put out. When you create something for the purpose of longevity and not instant gratification and a quick bag, you will always win. That will carry you for years.
